Junior Digital Design Engineer - Power Electronic Systems

NI Leuven designs power conversion systems for automated test and measurement applications in the electric vehicle market. These systems consist of state of the art modular hardware and software products and are constantly evolving as new requirements arise. They include power electronic actuators and sensors, FPGA and CPU-based real-time computing and networking, and model-based engineering toolchains and control applications.

As a Digital Design Engineer, you will join a diverse, multi-disciplinary, agile team. This job position is intended for recent graduates that want to grow in this role.

Your responsibilities:

Debug, finetune and optimize FPGA based designs and firmware for power systems Write documentation, tooling and tests for your designs Deploy and verify the firmware on hardware prototypes Work in a multi-disciplinary team with software, hardware and firmware engineers
