Sales Technical Support Engineer (m/f)

Mission As a member of the sales team, you support the sales department in contractually closing projects by answering project related technical questions. These range from technical and environmental questions to regulatory challenges; such as energy production, acoustics, aviation regulations, environmental impact, evolution of authorization procedures, support mechanisms, etc.
You are in a business critical position where you coordinate technical support for multiple sales projects and (European) tenders, including engaging and coordinating inputs from key technical competencies such as site assessment, ground engineering, grid integration, project management, SCADA-department and finance/treasury management.
Your tasks • Support the sales team in technical matters; • Maintain deep knowledge of wind turbine generators and wind power plant components and features; • Manage and maintain the documentation necessary for the submission of requests for quotations and tenders; • Carry out technical, regulatory and competitive monitoring; • Manage and follow up internal processes and technical requests; • Identify and analyze market needs and gather statistics; • Act as an interface between the needs of the BENELUX market and the parent company in Germany; • Respond to customer requests on technical, environmental and regulatory matters (transmission of documentation and advice); • Participate in sector organization meetings and be the voice of ENERCON in these meetings with authorities and/or administrations; • Occasionally support the sales managers at customers meetings to present your technical support and expertise.
