Microservice is an approach to developing a single application as a suite of small services, each running in its own process and communicating with lightweight mechanisms, often an HTTP resource API. These services are built around business capabilities and independently deployable by fully automated deployment machinery. Microservices communicate in an event-driven way, using an event hub to render them independent. Containerization is a lightweight alternative to full machine virtualization that involves encapsulating an application in a container with its own operating environment. This provides many of the benefits of loading an application onto a virtual machine, as the application can be run on any suitable physical machine without any worries about dependencies. Containerization is a main piece to build Microservice. Goal of the study is to evaluate this new implementation approach and the related technologies and how it could be useful for the company by developing a Proof Of Concept (POC).
