Getting started

Creating an account

To be able to use the site, order books and access the wiki's, you'll have to create an account. You can start the registering process here. Log in using your KU Leuven account and follow the steps. There's also a more detailed guide available.

During registration, you can choose to become a member. Membership costs 10 Euro and isn't mandatory, but gives you access to a whole lot of benefits! You get a goodie bag, a free VTK member t-shirt ans a reduction on all VTK activities as well. Once you've indicated you want to become a member, you just have to go to Cudi (our book shop) and pay the fee. They'll help you get your membership card.

Ordering books

Now that you've created your account, why not put it to good use and order your course materials (it can't always be about partying). To do this, go to our Cudi app: make sure you're logged in, click the profile button (top right) and then "My Bookings". Here you can see whether the books you've ordered are assigned or not, and of course order new courses. When they're assigned, you can go get them at Cudi (opening hours at the homepage). Since this year it is nececary to register for a timeslot to allow contact tracing. This can easely be done by following this link. Step-by-step instructions here. The bookstore closes a couple of weeks before the end of the semester, so don't wait too long!

Join the group

We've started a new facebook group for all international students at the Faculty of Engineering Science for the academic year 2020-2021. It's the place to get in touch with your colleagues, but you can also ask all your questions about Leuven life, your studies, ... If your fellow students nor we can help you, we'll be happy to find the right person for the job. Next to this, we will also use the group to announce all our international activities.

Of course, you're also very welcome at the other VTK activities. To be kept up to date about them, it's best you like our page. That way, you'll also get all news first hand.

Enjoy it!

Studying abroad is a truly unique experience, so don't forget to enjoy it! Study hard and enough, but don't forget to get away from your books and into the Leuven student life every now and again!
